[He had been left in the outskirts of the village after they had finished with him. It had been a particularly difficult couple of weeks while they were there. They had tested his physical limits, pain endurance, capability of his powers, and seemingly just what it would take to make him cry out in pain. Exhausted was an understatement, he felt thoroughly drained and doubted their claims that it would somehow help. They had enjoyed the process it seemed to him.

Laying on the ground there he contemplated just taking a nap right here. It would be delightful to just rest now, but people would be worried, and the comparative safety and comfort of the house would be welcome. Thankfully it seemed at least he would be able to communicate, the journal was right beside him. Lifting a stiff arm he flips it on.

He starts to try and say something for a moment before coughing for a few seconds, and takes an audible breath in. He winced as he took it in, seemed like that would take a little bit of time to heal]

H-hello, I hope I haven't worried anyone too much..

[He clears his throat and puts a little more volume in it]

This is Iroh, I'm in the forest, I can't tell exactly whereabouts. Normally I would find my own way back, but I am feeling a bit under the weather. I would appreciate any assistance, and if it is not too much to ask, a good cup of tea.

[A fortnight without tea was quite barbaric as well]

[Oh, that was something that always upset Vash to hear. Iroh might not have come out and said: I've been returned from a kidnapping, but Vash has been in Luceti long enough he understands what has been had not been said.]

You alright, old man? Has anyone come to find you yet? If not, move your journal around. I know the forest pretty well I should be able to find you if I can see part of it.

I have been much better frequently. Not as of yet.

[Here is where Iroh will be a little lucky. Vash's memory is so good that he can just about remember where every single, solitary tree is located within Luceti.] And would you like anything brought to you? I know they tend to enjoy dropping me back off in nothing but those white pants.

[With a bit more effort he manages to turn it slowly around the area showing a few different trees]

Tea would be lovely, if you would be so kind.

[Two weeks Vash, he has been without tea for two weeks, inhumane. Plus well torture and such]

[What. Really? No shoes or clothes? He wants him to cart out tea to the woods for him?]

I'm not so sure you'd really appreciate the kind of tea I make. I hardly ever drink the stuff. [And by hardly ever he means: I only drink it during our game sessions.] I mean, I suppose I could try, [the least he can do for someone back from the Malnossos.] but don't you think you'd prefer to get home and make your own?

[Vash has his shoes on now and the camera is going to start to sway a bit on his end. He's picked out the general location where Iroh is and is heading there now. As even if Iroh begs him to bring some sort of tea along he doesn't have any in his apartment.]

[Normally, he would never, ever do this. But Iroh is one of the few people in the village he genuinely likes, and with a different sort of attachment than being the default older sibling.]

I can bring Tammy out and try to find you. How are you doing on clothing, water or food?

It isn't that cold out, and when you have a certain amount of talent with fire bending keeping oneself warm is easy enough.

Ah, hello Loki. Have you been well this past while?

[He moves around the camera as much as he can]

Some people are coming for me already, so no worries on that front. Well, I will have to eat something soonish, but I am more trying to stay awake right now.

I don't know if they'll have tea ready for you, but I can certainly prepare some if you like.

They consider themselves civilized yet they don't even serve tea. Even when imprisoned back in my own world I was given tea.

Yeah? I guess that's true. I've never really thought much about using it like that before.

[He's making his way towards Iroh.] But I still only really know how to make instant tea. [You know, those bag things you dip in hot water. It is really all he knows how to make.] I mean, I'll bring you some of those bag things and water if that's what you really want. Just don't be too disappointed when that's what I show up with.

Most don't. They think only of fire as a cause of destruction. Fire is not so limited an element.

[He considers that a moment, it wasn't his usual...]

That's a travesty indeed. Shall I brew a pot and bring it over for when you've returned to the village?

Alright then. [He changes directions briefly to grab some tea bags from the store.] I'll bring a few flavors and water with me. You could heat the water up, right?

I would be most grateful for that. Have you been busy while I was gone?

Well... [He just stopped being a woman and had woken up in someone's bed soooo that was a thing?]

I suppose you could say that. Things have been a little strange lately. I was a scaly lizard with pointy teeth for a few days.

Not at all a problem.

[Well then... that certainly was an interesting way to spend a day]

And how was that?

Okay then! You'll have yourself some tea then when I arrive. Heh, sorry it's not going to be any better than the tea bags. [He's doing his best and he never realized how much he would suddenly wish he knew anything about tea.

At least it doesn't take him long to get to the store, but oh god... choices. What choice does he make?] Black, camomile, camomile with honey, green... [Oh, forget this. He's just going to start stuffing his pockets full of the different options.

Now he just needs a thermos and fill it with water. That should be easy enough at least!]

[No really. He was a sparkly dinosaur for like 4 days, Iroh.]

But it wasn't so bad. I could talk. Cliff-san was a dog and no one knew who he was.

[How has he been. Well, he's physically fine. So that's nice. But he normally is. And then there are the events of the past two weeks. Which all told, he doesn't even really want to think about yet. If at all possible, he'd like to never think about them. Being three different people would be difficult enough, and that's discounting all of the emotional strangeness that accompanied it.

Nope, not talking about that. Preferably ever.]

Oh, I've been just fine.

All right, I've an idea where you are. How badly off are you? [Should he get his horse, or is it enough of an emergency that he needs to teleport?]

Well the best moving I could do right now is probably a crawl.
